Återigen har det kommit rapporter om ADSL-abonnemang som inte lever upp till förväntan.
Jag säger bara en sak: det företag som försöker sälja “upp till 24 megabit per sekund” till mig för ett fast pris kommer att få tillbaka ett redigerat kontrakt där jag erbjuder mig att betala “upp till 199 kronor per månad”.
Förbannat bondfångeri är vad det är. Antingen levererar man en tjänst, eller också levererar man den inte. Att ta en fast avgift för att kanske leverera en tjänst, typ om vinden blåser från rätt håll den här månaden, är under all kritik.
(Själv har jag Blixtvik och är helnöjd, även om jag skulle rekommendera Bahnhof också, både på grund av bandbredds- och integritetsskäl – jag vet att de förstår Internets samhällsfunktion i grunden på ett sätt som de flesta ISPer inte ens bryr sig om. Jag har inte testat Blixtvik på integritetsfronten, men tio megabit genom dem var just tio megabit full duplex. Nu har jag hundra megabit i väggen och flaskhalsen sitter i min egen utrustning – kassa routers från USA där man inte bygger för sådan kapacitet, för den finns inte där.)
